Hi,
I'm Archana Sarat
I'm the founder of Read Write Inspire, a writer's studio filled with resources and actionable advice, that will increase your productivity, improve your writing skills and help you build a strong author platform.
My three books that have been traditionally published can be found at www.archanasarat.com
My first book, a psychological crime thriller, Birds of Prey, has gathered wide acclaim for being a gripping and pacy read. It is in the process of being adapted for the screen. My third book, Tales from the History of Mathematics, shows how math evolved over the years through twenty-six short stories. It won the Best Children's Book 2019 award at the Valley of Words International Literature Festival.
My articles and short stories have been published in various popular newspapers, magazines and anthologies like The Times of India, The Economic Times, The Free Press Journal, The SEBI and Corporate Laws Journal, The CA Newsletter, Me Magazine, the Science Reporter, the Chicken Soup for the Soul series, the NaNoWriMo India Anthology, the Writersmelon Jukebox Anthology and many more.
I have a Diploma in Creative Writing from The Writers Bureau, UK.
Conducting Creative Writing Workshops for both children and adults at various educational institutions and literary festivals has been my biggest joy. I love sharing my knowledge and experiences with writing, publishing and creating a robust author platform with all writers and thereby give back to the society that nurtured and encouraged me.
The YouTube Reading Club discussion was quite interesting to listen and it piqued my interest a lot in Wuthering Heights. I'm sure I'll be able to read the book right with all its layers when I do pick it up having listened to Percy's and Archana's in-depth insights on it. Hope there'll be more of these.
