One of my resolutions this year was to not only read more books, but also jot down my thoughts about the books I read irrespective of whether I share them online or not. January started off on a good note. I have read nine books this month and I am halfway through another two. If I keep up this pace, then this would be the year when I finally make a dent in that ever-growing To-Be-Read list.

Here are the books that were my January reads:

(I have given the links to their reviews next to them.)

Finished Reading:

  • Into the Water by Paula Hawkins (https://readwriteinspire.com/two-gripping-thrillers-must-read/)
  • The Good Daughter by Karin Slaughter (https://readwriteinspire.com/two-gripping-thrillers-must-read/)
  • The Doodler of Dimashq by Kirthi Jayakumar (https://readwriteinspire.com/whirlwind-of-emotions/)
  • The Face at the Window by Kiran Manral (Review coming up soon!)
  • Out with Lanterns by Alisha Kirpalani (Review coming up soon!)
  • How to Get from Where You are to Where You Want to be by Jack Canfield
  • How to Write a Lot by Paul Silvia
  • Carthick’s Unfairy Tales by Karthik Lakshminarayan (https://readwriteinspire.com/unexpected-treat-carthicks-unfairy-tales/)
  • Blogging for Creatives by Robin Houghton

Currently Reading:

  • The Red-Haired Woman by Orhan Pamuk
  • The Miracle Morning for Writers by Hal Elrod and Steve Scott
